Chapter 1:   It was a bright new day; the sun shone energetically upon the earth below, as an ominous wind blew softly through the trunks of towering oaks that bordered the quaint town of New Bark.   A shrill cry broke the silence.   "Skully! Are you dressed? It's almost time to meet Professor Elm! Don't keep him waiting!"
